The accesses of the church were used a long time as cemetery. Everyone wanted to be buried with more close to the church. It was said whereas the souls of deaths were closer to God and the paradise. Vicq preserved this tradition until the end of XIX century. Excavations carried out in 1970 allowed the update of the burials. They testify to the seniority of the installation of men in our area. Today, 4 sarcophagus exhumed on this occasion are emphasized on the quay level of the church.
